Russell Long officiating. He was born April 11, 1897 in Paluxy, Texas. With his parents he came to Day County, Oklahoma a year later, where they settled in the Crawford community. He graduated from Strong City High School and was married to Mary E. Taylor in El Reno, Oklahoma in 1939. A former soil scientist he received his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University, and his master's degree from Kansas State University. He retired in 1967. Mr. Bull received the "Outstanding Service Award" presented by the Honorable orville Freemen, Secretary of Agricluture, in 1967. The award recognized him for his invention of a hydraulic soil sampler machine. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 189, Guthrie Consistory, Order of Eastern Star No. 29, Oreder of the Amaranth, a member of the National Association of Retired Civil Employees and a member of the First Christian Church in Chickasha. Survivors include his wife, Mary, a daughter, Mrs. Marcia Kay Tanner, Bandung, Indonesia, two sisters, Mrs. Zada Bales of Sayre and Mrs. Ona Easley of Weatherford, two grandchildren.
