The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Bell, Flesher, Craig, Haven, Burtnett, Paolino, Robinson, Davis Albert Ezekiel Bell, born July 2, 1911, near Crawford, Oklahoma, passed away July 5, 1989 at the age of 78 years, 3 days in Mooreland, Oklahoma at the Mooreland Golden Age Center. At the age of 2, Albert moved to Durham, Oklahoma with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John William Bell. On December 28, 1933, Albert was united in marriage to Leona May Flesher in Elk City, Oklahoma. To this union 3 children were born, Florissa, Carolee, and Darol. Albert and Leona made their home in the Durham community. The first 10 years of their married life they owned and operated the Bell Grocery Store. In the 1950's they were searching for ways to boost their income as farming was not providing enough income to support their family. Eventually, the Bell Lumber Co. was formed and operated for many years on the Bell farm. Albert was a business man and farmer. He served as an insurance salesman for Farmers Union Insurance and a member of the Church of Christ. He had been ill for many years and had spent the last 1 1/2 years in a nursing home in Mooreland, Oklahoma. Preceding him in death were: his parents, John William Bell, Lula Davis Bell; one brother, Dr. Orville Bell; 1 sister, Pauline Craig; 1 grandson, Randy Haven. Survivors include: his wife, Leona; 2 daughters, Florissa Burtnett, Gage, Okla., Carolee Paolino, Southington, Conn; 1 son, Darol Bell, Bowie, Texas; 1 sons-in-law; 1 daughter-in-law; 1 sister, Bunea Robinson, Lexington, VA; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 1989 at 2:30 p.m. in the Durham Church of Christ with burial at Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck, Oklahoma. --------------------------------------------------------------------
