He was 48 years, 7 months and 13 days of age. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, and four children, Pauline, Orville, Albert and Bunah, relatives and many friends who will miss him very much from this life. He was married to Miss Lula Davis on October 26, 1902. They have made Durham their home for the past twenty-two years. He was a respctable citizen a kind husband and father, a neighbor and friend willing to do all he could in time of need. Little did we think of his passing so soon. Only a few days of suffering at home and at the hospital with malignant ersipelas and he passed in peace. A few years ago he gave his life to the service of the Master and was buried with Him in baptism, so we "sorrow not as those who have no hope." A large concourse of people came to the Durham auditorium to pay the last sad rite and a bank of flowers spoke their language of love. The body was laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma to await the Resurrection morn. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to the famly in their sore trial and distress.
