He was born May 24, 1952 in Elk City, Oklahoma. A loving Christian husband, father, son, brother and friend. Larry will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him. Larry graduated from Norman High School in 1970, then joined the United States Army and faightfully served his country during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Tinker Air Force Base for 25 years. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 39. Among his other interests he enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He joins in eternal rest his father, James Leo Beals, who preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Shirley Beals; four daughters; Stephanie Perry and husband, Kevin; Stacy Smith, Jamie Beals, all of Norman and Shelley Reynolds of Oklahoma City; one son, Tray Reynolds of Midwest City, Oklahoma; four sisters, Jo Baden and husband Bill of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Nancy atha and husband Floyd of Yukon, Oklahoma, Linda Bogges of Norman, Lovina Tabnb aand husband Shelvie of Noble; one brother Leroy Beals of Norman; one granddaughter, Bailey Smith and a host of other loving familly and friends. Services to celebrate his life were held Monday, May 5, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sooner Road Baptist Church, 5824 S.E. 15th, Midwest City with interment held at the Sunny Lane Cemetery under the direction of Vondel L. Smith & son Mortuary.
