All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Silent Home Cemetery--Roll OK Duncan Banner 29 Apr 2003 Hazel Marie Malson CHEYENNE, Okla. - Hazel Marie Malson, 85, of Cheyenne died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, in Roger Mills Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne. Service was Saturday in the Cheyenne Church of Christ with Kendall Abner officiating and Bob O'Hair assisting with the eulogy. Burial was in Silent Home Cemetery in Roll under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Hazel Marie was born Sept. 15, 1917, near Doanes Crossing, Texas, to Idell and William Jesse Riley. She moved with her parents to Roger Mills County where she attended school at Cheyenne. She married Lowell Dwight Malson on Nov. 24, 1935, in Reydon. They lived in the Crawford community before moving to Leedey in 1942. They moved to Durham in 1947, where they farmed, and they moved to Roll in 1989. Hazel moved to Cheyenne in November 1997 to make her home. Mrs. Malson was a member of the Crawford Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Darla and Don O'Hair of Duncan and Loree and Melvin Summers of Cheyenne; a son and daughter-in- law, Leon and Janet Malson of Crawford; two sisters, Lois Thomas and Gerri Saiz, both of Cheyenne; a brother, Tom Riley of Amarillo, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
