The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Baldwin, Collins, Conrad, Sims, Giles, Roberts, Fisher, Chick Viola Conrad-Baldwin was born May 18, 1902 in Rugby, Texas and died January 20, 1991 in Arlington, Texas at the age of 88. She was born the daughter of Brice and Mary Martha Ellen Collins. After her father's death, her mother married Terrel D. Sims and the family moved to the Roll area. She graduated from Clear Spings school north of Cheyenne. On July 3, 1926, she married Ross Conrad Sr., in Cheyenne where they remained and Viola served as a postal clerk at the Cheyenne post office for 21 years. After he husband, died, she moved to Ft. Worth, Texas in 1959. In November of that year she married Horace N. Baldwin and they lived in the Tarrant County area. She was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and was a member of the Cheyenne United Methodist church. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: her husband Horace; two sons, Ross Jr. of Arlington, Texas; Charles Ray Conrad of Tulsa; three step-daughters, Mary Ann Giles, of Ft. Worth, Texas; Billey L. Roberts of Farmer's Branch, Texas; Ruth E. Fisher, of Natchez, Mississippi; two sisters, Bertha Chick of Colorado; Ethel Chick, Amarillo, Texas; four brothers, Woodrow Sims, J.C. Sims, B. Sims, and Joe Sims, all of Sayre; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and other relatives. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, with Mark Smith officiating.
