She passed away on November 21, 1984 in the Cheyenne Nursing Home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 5 days. She lived her early married years around Hammon, Oklahoma, with her late husband Joseph J. Blaylock. They moved to New Mexico for a few years then to Mountain Park, Oklahoma, where she run the Mountain Park Laundry for 15 years. She was a member of the Mountain Park Baptist Church. Survivors are 2 daughters Juanice Parkhurst, Strong City, Oklahoma; Loretta Horne, Mountain Park, Oklahoma; 2 sons, Stephen of Alvin, Texas and David of Oklahoma City; 3 sisters, Ora Shell and Ethel Stamper, Cheyenne; and Francis Parkhurst, Oakwood, Oklahoma; 4 brothers, Fred, Clarence, Wallace and C.D. Pitcock all of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren Services were held in Mountain Park at the Baptist Church by the Rev. Emmett Hayslip.
