He moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Blanscet to Reydon in 1937 where he grew to manhood. Her was active in school activities, and at the time he was taken ill, was president of his class. His gracious way won him many friends, and his passing is one of sorrow to the entire community. His father preceded him in death one year ago. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Mrs. Nellie Blanscet, Reydon; three sisters, Mrs. Juanita Bonner, of Corona, California; Mrs. Ellen Cunningham, Delhi, Oklahoma, Madge Blanscet of Reydon; three brothers, Marshall of the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Ord, California, Thomas and Paul, both of Reydon, three half-sisters, Mrs. Lillie Green, of Sayre, Oklahoma, Mrs. Nora Bartz of Corona, California, Mrs.Edith Bartz of Sweetwater, Oklahoma, Two half brothers, Russel Blanscet of Corona, California, and Edwin Blanscet of Bakersfield, California and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services were held at the Reydon Community Building on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. R.K. Whitaker, assisted by Rev. J.L. Davis, officiated. Burial was in the Carter cemetedry near Carter, Oklahoma with the Scroggins Funeral Home in charged of arrangements.
