She was preceded in death by her husband Ray McCaskill and her second husband Raymond Balir; 1 sister, Glayds Caldwood and 5 brothers, Jack, Jim, Rupert, Ray and Norman Schmeler. She is survived by her son Norman McAskill and wife, Susan of Lewisville, TX, her daughtger Kathy Gundaker and husband Ed, of Arlington, TX; 8 beautiful grandchildren, Kelly Pack and husband Jake of Mansfield, TX; Mike, Danny and Laura McCaskill of Lewisville, TX; Christ McCaskill and wife Janette of Lewisville, TX, Robby McCaskill, U.S. Navy of San Diego, CA and Bill and Tom Bogges of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 sisters, Irene Johnston and Ruth McLaren of Michigan, and one brother, George Schmeler of Florida, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Lillian lived in Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK for over 30 years, where she was active in the Methodist Church and various sewing and quilting clubs. She was a superb cook and took great pride in her homemaking as well as being a good wife, mother, neighbor and friend to all. Her spirit of giving to others will alwasy be remembered, along with her beautiful smil.e Lillian and Raymond resided on their farm south of Cheyenne for over 28 years and she moved to Arlington in 1990 due to their failing health. While in Arlington she became a member of the First United Methodist Church where she becam active in Sunday School and the Senior fellowship group. Lillian enjoyed her new church home and all her friends at Arlington Villa. Everyone who lives she touched loved her dearly and she will be missed by all.
