The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Obit for Hester Lee (Heck) Bullard Hester Lee (Heck) Bullard was born March 18, 1903, near Grand, Oklahoma and passed away April 5, 1969, at his home in Cheyenne. He was the son of Benjamin F. and Rhoda Bullard, early day pioneers of Old Day County, Oklahoma. Heck lived most of his life within a few miles of his brith place. He was a part of his land, a proud man who had a definite hand in the make-up off this country. He possessed a great spririt of civic pride and felt it his duty to help carry the load of work it takes to make up a town, county and state. He was united in marriage to Bessie Hutchinson on April 10, 1921. To this union was born a son, Alvis of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and two daughters, Nina Krober and Sylvia Moad of Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his parents, thre brothers, Floyd, Chester Dea, and one sister, Effie. His survivors are his children: Seven grandchildren, Larry and Jeannie Bullard, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gus Harrington, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Neva payne and hubert Krober, Weatherfcord, Oklahoma, Joe Bill and jo Beth Moad, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; four great grandchildren; three brothersx: Roy, Oval and Orville all of Arnett, Oklahoma; one sister: Mrs. Jack Harris of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a number of nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
