The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ==================================================================== Surnames: Blurton, Hayes, Bull Mary Ann Blurton, the daughter of Sarah and Thomas Hayes, was born July 24, 1861 at Tioga, Texas and passed away May 1, 1954 in Eakly, Oklahoma following a three weeks illness. Mary Hayes was united in marriage to John Thomas Blurton, January 24, 1877 at Tioga, Texas. To this union ten children were born. Later they moved to Arapaho, Oklahoma where Mr. Blurton died on February 12, 1901. Mrs. Blurton with her children moved to a farm in Day County in 1901 where she lived until a few years ago. Since that time she has made her home with her youngest son Jess Blurton now of Eakly, Oklahoma. She was baptized into the Church of Christ more than 70 years ago. Six of her children preceeded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Maude Bull, Perryton, Texas; three sons, Huey of Centrilla, Washington, Oliver of Crawford, Oklahoma and Jesse of Eakly, Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and other relatives and a host of firends.
