Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the directiion of the Martin Funeral Home. Hazel was born February 23, 1919 near Hammon to Newt and Almedia Thomas Dykes and died Sunday, June 27, 1999 at the age of 80. She was raised in the Hammon area and attended Herring School. She was first married to Bob Boyer and was then married to Roy Benn. Odessa spent her time working as a waitress and in the motel industry. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; four sisters; and one grandson. Survivors include two sons, Bobby L. Boyer and his wife Pam of Carter and Gene Boyer and his wife Tracy of Elk City; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
