Beumgartner was born March 25, 1913 at Butler, Oklahoma and passed away November 11, 1996 at lodi Memorial Hospital in California. Mr. Beumgartner, a former Leedey resident, worked for 10 years for the San Joaqauin Agricultural Department and as a foreman on the Morris and Skinner Grape Ranch for 25 years. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and Masonic Lodge #256 of Lodi. He enjoyed gardening. He is survived by two sisters, Mathilda Addington of Stockton and Bertha Wheeler of Pine Grove, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Beumgartner and one son, Jay W. Baumgartner. Services were held in the Chapel of the Lodi Funeral Home on Thursday, November 14, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. with burial in the Cherokee Memorial Park. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
