Clyde Denny and Rev. Leland Burch officiating. Born April 23, 1896 in Seminole county, Oklahoma, he moved to Arnett from Asher, Oklahoma in early 1925. He was married to Minnie Archer at Strong City December 26, 1927. He was a 50 year member of the Baptist Church at Asher. Survivors are his wife, Minnie, of the home, four daughtters, Mrs. Bernie Faye Churchill, Durham, Mrs. Betty Worksman, Edmond, Mrs. Bea Williams and Mrs. Barbara Sue Walker, both of Oklahoma City. Six sons, Bob of Fairbanks, Alaska, Bill of Crawford, Barnard and Dale of Kalameth Falls, Oregon, Bryan of Arnett, and Barny of the home. 18 grandchildren. Four sisters, Mrs. Bernie Black, Shawnee, Mrs. Marie Ikler, Illinois, Mrs. Edna Kenadaart and Mrs. Bessie Harp, both of Riverdale, California, Three brothers Warren Parker and Bill Sullivan, St. Louis, Oklahoma.
