Emma was the wife of the late Marion Edward Bauman and daughter of the late Tulley and Millie Malone. She was married to Marion Edward Bauman May 12, 1912, who preceded her in death on January 15, 1950. To this union were born two daughters: Edrae and Gertrude. Gertrude preceded Emma in death on June 2, 1973. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Cleveland, OK. Emma was the kind of friends that other sought to find, she extended her hand to everyone. She greeted the world with a smile and gave petty woes and sadness no portion of her day. She never talked at legnth about herself but listened well to others. In times of crisis she would take compassion, hope and courage and kept them at her side. She found beauty in the simple things and made each day a lovely page in life's delightful book. Emma donated an organ to the Cheyenne Methodist Church in loving memory of her late husband in 1951. Emma survivors include: 1 daughter Edrae Berry of Cheyenne, 2 sisters, Agnes Saunders, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Juanita Lacey of Denver, Colorado. 3 grandchildren; Joan Harrison, Cheyenne, OK. Yvonne Cobb, Oklahoma city, Oklahoma and Melton Morris of Gainexville, Fla. 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, and a host o nieces and nephews, and friends. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 13, 1988 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cheyenne United Methodist Church with Mark Smith officiating. Burial was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Active pallbearers were Glen Tracy, Jerry Swartwood, Norman Cobb, Sam Cobb, Gary Kirk and Mac Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were, Joe Berry, Matt Sooter, Lester Pierce, Collier Tracy, Donovan Wesner, Gene Estes, and B.M.
