She passed from this life at her home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, September 11, 1937. She had been in ill health for many years and confined to her home for more than nine months. She came to Indian Territory about fifty years ago. At the age of seventeen she was united in marriage to John W. Troxel. To this union five chilldren were born. One child and her husband preceeded her in death. On July 6, 1903 she was married to N.M. Bowman. When just a girl she was converted and joined the Methodist church. Later she became a member of the Baptist church and still later she became a member of the Church of the Breathren in which church her membership remained to the time of her death. She leaves behind her husband N.M. Bowman; one son, Samuel Troxel of Palisade, Colorado; three daughters, Mrs. Abbie Bowman and Mrs. Effie Wall both of Cheyenne, and Mrs. Johnnie Woodring of Portales, N.M.; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; and many other relatives, friends and neighbors. She will be reatly missed by all who knew her but we know our loss is her gain for she has gone to that home of the soul prepared for the righteous. The funeral services were conducted at the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by Rev. Oscar E. Hill assisted by Rev. J.W.
