Memorial services were held Tuesday, July 3, at 12 noon in the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne with Rev. Aubrey Cowan and Rev. A.L. Martin officiating. Burial was in the Cheyenne Cemeter, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. He was born June 9, 1894 in Pottawatomie County. He came to Foss as a small child. Then he moved to Butler and at the age of 9 years he moved to Cheyenne to make his home. He married Lola May Stephenson Nov. 15, 1914 at Cheyenne. Bowman was a former Roger Mills County Treasurer. Ebe was a member of the Baptist Church since 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, and one son. Survivors are his wife, Lola May of the home; 3 daughters Mrs. Gene Ledbetter and Alice (Tinker) Erwin both of Amarillo, TX. and Madeline Scott of Albuquerque, NM; 2 sons, Bill of Odessa, TX and E.B., Jr. of Tulsa; 3 sisters, Bertha Scott, Willie Batchelor and Lorena Pitzer, all of Cheyenne.
