He was born January 12, 1880 in Lampasass county, Texas. He was married to Mary Aroxel in 1911 at Cheyenne. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Abbie Bauman of the home address; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Meyers, Cheyenne and Mrs. Effie Rogers, Mayfield and one granddaughter. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. in the Cheyenne Methodist church with Rev. Lemuel Summers officiating. Commital was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Casket bearers were Lee Roark, Lester Pierce, George Purvis, Glen Williams, Eddie Lee McDaniel, and John Burns. Scroggins funeral home had charge of aarrangements.
