Berry was born October 19, 1912 in Denton, TX to Ammie Ozella and Andrew Robert Berry and passed away July 2, 1994 in the Fayetteville City Hospital at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 13 days. Claud grew up in the Willow community where he attended school before beginning his career as an elctrician. He later moved to Lone Wolf, OK and was married to Nina Olson on June 22, 1940 in Sayre, OK. They remained in Lone Wolf before purchasing the telephone company in Willow. In 1957, they moved to Las Vegas, NV where they stayed until 1987 when they returned to Oklahoma to be near family. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter Nan Ellen, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Nina of the home; 4 daughters, Dorothy Marie Moore, Pohnepia, FSM, Nina Louise Verkler, Rogers, AR, Caludia Mae Ferguson, Cortez, CO, and Nancy Jane Hamill, Soldotan, AR; 1 son, Larry James Berry, Altamonte Springs, FL; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters in law, Marie Berry and husband D.A., Okalhoma City, OK and Ruth Olson, Grimes, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 1994 in the Rose Chapel officiated by Kevin Ballard.
