His home has been at Reydon where he had spent all of his life. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star Chapter. He was preceded in death by his father, H.E. Barbee in 1948 and a sister, Vera May in infancy. Survivors include Wilma Barbee and their two sons, Craig and Brent of Perryton, Texas, his mother, Mrs. Jennie Barbee of Reydon; three sisters, Erlene of Reydon; Lucille Pope of Tulsa, and Mary Woolsey of Houston, Texas and many other relatives and friends. Committal in White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
