The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah T. Gamble. Her spriit left June 29, 1967 at Cheyenne Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at Reydon Community Hall with burial at Dempsey cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma July 1, 1967. Mrs. Barbour moved with her parents near Reydon in 1925 and she spent her shcool years here. In April 3, 1937 she was married to Marvin B. Barbour of Alva, Oklahoma at Guymon. Their home was blessed with three sons, Marvin Grant of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joseph Norvell, Montrose, Colorado, James Thomas, Basalt, Colorado, six grandchildren, Tammy, Teresas, Deborah, Kyle, Kerry and Roger. She repented of her sins and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and became a member of the Church of God at Griggs, Oklahoma. She spent her entire life in unselfish devotion to her family, relatives and many friends. Survivors are her husband, Marvin, three sons and families, her parents, two brothers, Grant, Oklahoma City, and Roy of Coeur D Alene, Idaho, one sister, Edith King of Moore, Oklahoma and a host of relatives and friends.
