Bowers began his beautiful life May 28, 1954 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Raymond F. Bowers and Doris Johnanna Gillialdn Bowers. Larry passed to our Father's hands Monday, April 10, 2000 at 5:58 p.m. Larry moved to Muskogee with his family in 1961, where he began and obtained a high school diploma from the Oklahoma School for the Blind. He continued his education at OSU-Okmulgee Tech where he b ecame a certified airplane upholsterer. He then went to work for Cessna aircraft where as he met and married, later to become a loving supportive and wonderful father. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending quality time with his family. Larry is survived by his wife, Crystal Fennell Bowers, his three children, Randy Bowers, Muskogee, Carrie Greenfield, Muskogee, Airman 1st Class Alice Bowers, Hawaii, his father Raymond Bowers, Muskogee, four siblings; Monty and Jeanie Bowers, San Francisco, Raymond and Holley Bowers, Oklahoma City, Debbie and Micheal Shewmaker, Ft. Worth, Texas, Dianne Bowers, Oklahoma City, four nephews and four nieces. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Johnanna Gilliland, and grandparents Frank and Carrie Bowers. Services were held on friday, April 14, 2000 at the Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home, then laid to rest at Brushy Mountain Cemetery.
