William H. Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Dudley Ray Briscoe was born January 5, 1914 in Cheyenne and passed away Sunday Jun. 27, 1993 at the age of 79. He attended Meadowbrook and Rankin Schools west of Cheyenne. Ray lived in Cheyenne and Grimes until 1948 when he moved to Elk City. Ray served his country in the US Army during World War II in the European Theatre. He worked at the Livestock Sale Barn for over 15 years in Elk City. He was a farmer and stockman that enjoyed his participation in the Elk City Round Up Club for many years. Survivors include his sister: Maudie Coffey of Sweetwater. Also several nieces and nephews including Clarence and Lee Coffey of Sweetwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
