He departed this life Tuesday, Sept 1, 1981 at the Sayre Hospital in Sayre, Okla., at 70 years of age. In 1932 Mr. Burrows moved to Cheyenne from Sayre. He was married to Ester Opal Jencks at Cheyenne on Aug. 30, 1933. They moved to Descanso, Calif. in 1945 and was employed by the State Highway Department of Calif. returning to Cheyenne in 1968, where he lived at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: His wife, Ester of the home, 2 sons, Doyle aand Jarrell both of Cheyenne, by one sister, Mrs. Rachel Brigham of Fay, Okla., and by 4 grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the United Methodist Church, Cheyenne, Friday Setp. 4, 1981 at 2:30 p.m. with Homer Williams officiating, interment following in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK Pallbearers - Ronnie Jencks, Dale Jencks, Gale Wilhite, Joe Robinson, Wayne Batterton, Ike Lucas.
