The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Burrows, Clayton, Brigham, Jencks Funeral services were held at 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Cheyenne Methodist church for George Burrows, who passed away at a.m. Friday after an illness of 18 months. He had been making his home with a son, L.C. Burrows. Rev W.C. Klopfenstein conducted the services. Mr. Burrows came to Roger Mills county seven years ago. He was born December 12, 1881 in Falls county, Texas. He died June 19, 1942 at the age of 61 years. On May 20, 1900 he was married to Miss Daisy Cowger, to which union six children were born. He is survived by his wife and six children, J.S. Burrows, Tussy, Oklahoma; J.R. Burrows, County Line, Okla.; L.C. Burrows, Sayre, Okla.; Mrs. Nettie Clayton, Beecher City, Ill.; Mrs. Rachel Brigham, Cheyenne; Mrs. Mildred Jencks, Cheyenne; four sisters and one brother. Burial was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. --------------------------------------------------------------------
