Brock, 90, of 1322 Hillcrest, died Monday, Oct. 13, 1997, in Wheeler. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Dr. Larry Payne, pastor of Coulter Road Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Brock was born in Mangum, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for 56 years. He married Ollie Evans in 1930 at Cheyenne, Okla. They lived in Hemphill and Wheeler counties from 1931 to 1941. Mr. Brock was a cowboy on several ranches while living in Hemphill and Wheeler counties. He became a carpenter in Amarillo and was a member of Carpenters Local Union No. 665. He was a charter member of Coulter Road Baptist Church and had been a deacon there since 1958. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Elizabeth Martin of McLean and Regeina Scott of Amarillo; two sisters, Sallie Harris of Wheeler and Helen Ward of Houston; a brother, Minor Carson of Irving; five grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
