She was united to the Methodist church at an early age and remained until her death. She was married three times: first to Mr. Tate Benson; second to Monroe Goforth; and last to Mr. William Bowers. Two of her daughters, Iris and Maud Bowers and one step-son Ben Bowers preceded her in death. She is survived by and leaves to mourn her death; two daughters, Pearl De Redder and Fannie Holloway of Carson, Mississippi; four sons Frank Bowers of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Carl Bowers of Lamesa, Texas; Ralph Bowers of Bassfield, Mississippi; and Monroe Goforth, of Lamesa, Texas; two step- sons, Tom Bowers of Sayre, Oklahoma; and Walter Bowers of Paris, Texas; and numerous other relatives. Interment was made in the Lamesa, Texas, cemetery Friday afternoon.
