(Ted) Bright, Rt. 1, Crawford, was born May 19, 1910 in Three Rivers, MI, to John W. and Mamie Bright. He passed from this life Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1981 at 71 years of age. Mrs. Bright moved to Crawford in 1913 with his mother and attended school near Crawford. On July 20, 1948 he was married to Mae Sue Springer in Wheeler, Texas. Mrs. Bright was a member of the Crawford Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of World War II and retired state highway department employee. At the time of his death Mr. Bright was a farmer. His parents, 1 brother and 1 sister precede him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mae Sue, of the home, 1 daughgter, Shirley Cogburn, Cheyenne; 3 sons: Albert Lee of Farnsworth, Texas; Jerry Lynn, Crawford, Okla.; Richard Larry, of Spearman, Texas, 4 grandchildren and 1 niece. Alva Lee Bright, Cheyenne, Ok. Services were conducted by A.L. Martin and Aubrey Cowan, Saturday, Dec. 12, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Baptist Church with interment in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, OK. Pallbearers were Frank Tidwell, Leroy Bowers, Rex Dickason, Leon Keahey, George Wright, and Tom Smith. Honorary Pallbearers were George Goin, Donald Reynolds, Wyvis Webb, Eli Shotwell and Fred Aderhold.
