Services were held Wednesday aat 230 p.m. at the Berlin school auditorium with Rev. Jeff Wick officiating. Born November 9, 1872, at Cumming County, Nebraska, Mr. Bright came to western Oklahoma in 1892 and homesteaded two miles east of Berlin. He was married to Martha Patterson at Berlin, Oklazhoma, September 4, 1898. In 1919 he moved to his present home in Berlin. He was a member of the Berlin Methodist Church. His parents, two sisters, and six brothers preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife Martha of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Linnie Guy, Berlin, Mrs. Blossie Cleghorn, Oklahoma City, one son, Lacey of Wichita, Kansas, five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Millinton, Berlin, Mrs. Lydia Hay, Cheyenne; two brothers, Daivd Bright, Elk City, Claud Bright, Cheyenne. To mourn his passing he leaves nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Pall bearers were Ray Barker, Harley Harrington, Fred Weiss, Clayton Thedford, Jess Harrington, John Klopenstein. Committal will be in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Moore Funeral home in chage of arrangements.
