He passed away suddenly as the result of an auto accident at the Alve Share Medical Center on the 5th of December, 1978 at the age of 29 years and 6 days. In August of 1955 they came to Alva where he attended the Alva Schools, graduating from the Alv e High School with the class of 1968. He attended college at O.S.U., North Texas University at Denton, Texas, and Northwest Oklahoma State University. Gary was a veteran of the Viet Nam conflict, serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. On July 31, 1975 at Woodward he was married to Karen O'Hair. Following their marriage they lived in Woodward, and he worked at the Western State Hospital in Fort Supply as a security attendant. In August of 1977 they came to Alva to make their home, and he worked for the Triad Drillin Company. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Beierschmitt. Gary is survived by his wife Karen, his parents, Irene and Bill, all of Alva. A sister and her husband Linda and Les Jacobs of Anthony, Kansas. Three brothers and their wives Billy Ray and Vicki of Bartlesville, Bobby Joe and Jimmy Don and Lynell, both of Alva. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.G. P arman of Reydon, Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Whmitt of Elk City. His parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Keith O:Hair, two brothers-in-law, Mark and Ruthie, all of Laverne, Oklahoma, and Larry of Oklahoma City. Three nieces, two nephews, a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Interment Alva Municipal Cemetery, Alva, Oklahoma Casket Bearers were; Bill H.
