Rachel, the daughter of George and Daisy Bird Burrows, married Homer Jessie Wilhite on June 7, 1928 in Vernon, Texas. she married Maynard Glen Brigham on November 12, 1935 in Sayre, OK and they moved south of Cheyenne where she worked as a nurses; aide. They later moved to Clinton before moving to Fay, OK in 1972 to maek their home. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 foster son-Don and 1 grandson. She is survived by: 1 son and daughter-in-law, Rudoplh and Phyliss Wilhite of Fay, OK; 1 foster son, charles Simpson, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 sister-in-law, Ester Dooty of Cheyenne, OK; 4 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great gvrandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Friday, Feburary 22, 1991 at 11 p.m. in the Cheyenne First Baptist church with Billie E. Kimball officiating.
