All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Beierschmidt, Womble, Gillespie Originally posted at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5YB.2ACE/6273 Mrs. Henry Gillespie Beierschmidt was born October 11, 1893 at Black Springs, Arkansas and died March 7, 1933 at 1:30 p.m. in her home in Cheyenne at the age of 39 years, 4 months and 25 days. She was married June 3, 1917 and three children were born, who are Adolph, Bobbie and a baby, Roberta Luella. She also leaves her husband, one sister, two brothers and her mother. The sister, Mrs. W.E. Womble of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; and the two brothers, T.H. Gillespie of Colorado Springs, Colorado and T.R. of Reydon, Oklahoma, were present at the funeral as was also the mother and ther other members of the family. She united with the Methodist church in 1915 and was loyal and earnest member. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon in the Methodist church of Cheyenne after which the body was interred in the Dempsey cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Rev. Chunn and Rev. Bradley officiated in the services. Mrs. Beierschmidt was a conscientious and unselfish woman, a wife and mother of sterling integrity and of a most genial, charitable loving native. Her presence will be greatly missed in the home as well as among her friends. Mrs. Beierschmidt had been in bad health since the birth of an infant daughter February 7, 1933 had been seriously ill, however she was considered to be improving until a few minutes before her death early last Tuesday morning.
