Charlotte I. Barrett was born at Waterford, Ohio, July 26, 1835, making her 83 years, 8 months and 4 days old at the time of her death. Grandma Barrett was loved by all who knew her, having won that high esteen by her lovable, cheerful dispositon and her works of love and mercy throughout her life. She leaves to mourn her loss, six children, three sons and three daughters. They are: Charles F. Barrtett, Oklahoma City, W.K. Barrett of Kingfisher, Bert Barrett of Courtland, Kansas, Mrs. W.S. Conaway of Kansas City, MO, Mrs. L.J. Brown, of Oklahoma City and Mrs. A.F. Randall with whom she was making her home with at the time of her death. The funeral services were conducted at the Randall home by the Revs. Wileman and McCleskey after which the remains were quietly laid to rest in the Cheyenne Cemetery.
