Byrd Mr. W.A. Byrd, a well known and respected citizen of Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, died Saturday Mary 26, 1906 of cancer of the stomach, at his home six miles northwest of Elk City. Mr. Byrd was forty-seven years, seven months and eighteen day old. Was born in Johnson county, Arkansas, October 8, 1858. Was married to Miss Florence F. Turner, December 10, 1980. He was the father of thirteen children and their mother survive him. He had been sic for six weeks. Rev. Henson had charge of the funeral services.
