Brady of the Grimes community met a tragic death Monday evening, March 10, 1941 when a cave-in from a well piled tons of dirt upon his body. Dennis Brady and a brother were digging a well on the Brady farm when the cave-in occured. The brother, who was on top, rushed to the house and informed his parents who immediately summoned help and the dirt was soon removed, but the young man was dead. It is believed that death was instant when he was crushed beneath tons of dirt. Brady is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Brady, threed sisters and three brothers. They are Charlie of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Mary of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Leo of Los Angeles, California, Anna of Norman, Oklahoma, Sherman of the home address and Kathleen of Maryville, Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Joseph's church in Cheyenne Friday morfning, after which burial will be made in the Elk City cemetery under the direction of Tunnard Funeral home of Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
