Roy L. Wilburn officiating. Interment followed in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. William was born December 1, 1939 in Butler, Oklahoma to William E. and Sarah Jane Willis Broadbent and died Sunday January 27, 2000 aat the age of 60 years. He was raised in the Butler area and attended Butler Schools. He worked at factory jobsd until 1986 when he began a farming and ranching career in Butler. He married Sharon Elrod on April 5, 1975 in Elk City. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son and infant granddaughter. Survivors include his wife Sharon Broadbent of the Butler home; five sons, Tracy Floyd Broadbent, Gage, Troy Stephen Broadbent of Gage, Pleas Hayes of Butler, Harry Hayes of Elk City and Hayes Broadbent of Clinton; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchildren; one brother, Billy Broadbent of Pampa, Texas and one sister, Barbara Dodson of Nowata.
