Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery near Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Lester Clarence Bartz was born in Nebraska on November 18, 1907 and passed away Friday October 23, 1992 at the age of 84. Mr. Bartz was married to Edith Blanscet February 4, 1930. They made their home in the Sweetwater Community where they were engaged in farming. They retired in 1973 and lived in Elk City since except for 2 years in Wheeler, Texas. Mrs. Bartz preceded him in death in 1986. Survivors include two children; Aleta Dowell and Coy Bartz, both of Amarillo, Texas. Two brothers, Orville Bartz of Elk City and Harvey Bartz of Sayre and two sisters Gertrude Coffey of Sweetwater and Clara Clawson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
