His death came about 1:15 PM, Sept 23, 1981, in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital. The Bradshaw Family moved ro Ger Mills County in 1919 and lived on a ranch north of Cheyenne until 1923, when they moved to twon. Cheyenne had been his home since that tiem. In 1927, he joined the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne and was an active member. November 15, 1931, he married Genevieve Mouser. They had three children, Larry Bradshaw of Cheyenne, Barbara Murdock, of Princeton, KY and Jan Riggs Cloyde of San Francisco, CA; a nice, who was reared in their home. Eb's occupation was farmer-rancher, however, he served a foreman of the State Highway Department, District H. Division 5 for nineteen years, retiring in 1973, since that time he had enjoyed working with Larry, farming and caring for cattle. He was member of the Cheyenne Masonic Lodge, No. 133, and served as worshipful master during the time the present Masonic Temple was built. He was a man of honesty, strength and integrity. Hewas soft-sponken and considerate of others. In his quiet, unassuming way he made friends and gained the respect of all with whom he came in contact. Preceding Eb in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Bradshaw, two brothers, Hub and Perry, and one sister, Pauline Riggs. The immediate survivors are Genevieve, of the home; son and wife, Larry and Marie, their children, Lynda, Michael, Christy and Kimberly; daughter and husband, Barbara and Lloyd Murdock, their children, Tonya, Shawn, and Shea; niece Jan Cloyde; one brother, Jimmie Bradshaw of McKenney, TX and two sisters, Geraldine Dearing of Cheyenne, and Billie Rush of Odessa, TX as well as a number of nephews and nieces -------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Roger Mills Archives http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/rogermills/rogermills.html
