Mrs. Bradshaw was 58 years, 6 months and 26 days of age at the time of her death. Mary spent her maturing years in the Bloomington area where she attended grade school and graduated from Bloomington High School. To further her education she attended the Texas University of Arts and Industries at Kingsville, TX where she received a teaching certificate. She taught about 2 years at Victoria, TX, where she met William Perry Bradshaw. They were later married on November 23, 1944 at Victoria, TX. After their marriage, the young couple moved to a ranch south of Arnett in the Packsaddle community. This remained the family home for many years. To this union were born 4 children: Mike, Buzz, Salley and J.T. After the death of Mr. Bradshaw, Mary moved to Oklahoma City, where she lived for several years, doing volunteer work for the American Red Cross. The last few years of her life were spent in Vici. Mary enjoyed being around people and her grandchildren brought special enjoyment to her. She liked to work in the garden and to can the produce she raised. Mary was a member of the Cheyenne First Baptist Church, and of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her husband William Perry in March 1968, 1 son Buzz, in May 1978, her parents and 2 brothers, Carl and Robert Glasgow. Those remaining to honor her memory include, 1 daughter, Salley Singhiser, of Woodward; 2 sons, Mike and j.T. of Arnett, her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Dawson of Arnett, 7 grandchildren, 1 sister, Maybelle Stone of San Antonio, TX; 2 brothers, Mark Galsgow of Pensacole, FL, and Hilbert Glasgow of Alvin, TX. Serveral nieces and nephews, and other relatives and many friends. Service were held Friday Jan. 8, 1982 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, OK with Jerry Hodges, pastor of the Arnett First Baptist Church and Aubrey Cowan, pastor of the Cheyenne First Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK.
