Funeral services were Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, with Rev. James Wilkerson assisted by Rev. Milton Gage officiating. Born February 25, 1914 in Mangum, Mr. Bradshaw married Arvella Watson at Lawton. He came to Cheyenne in 1919 from Mangum where he operated a feed mill and was also a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Baptist church, Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, a Veteran of W II, Masonic Order, American Legion, and was Kiwanis club past president, a retired fire department chief who served 20 years with the volunteer department. Survivors are his wife of the home; one daughter, Patricia Anne and one son, Richard Monroe both of the home; his mother, Mary C. Bradshaw, Cheyenne; two brothers, J.E. of Cheyenne, J.L. of McKinney, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Dearing, Cheyenne, Mrs. Billie Fern Rush, Odessa, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, oned sister, Pauline Riggs, oned brother W.P. Bradshaw. Pall bearers were Robert Briggs, Ralph Kirk, Dean Krober, James Mogg, Orville Boggess, Tom Perryman. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Chalfant, J.W. Chalfant, Chink Beaty, Giles Peterson , Eddie Lee McDaniel, Eli Shotwell, R.L. Trammell, Eldridge Calvert, Rannie Lester, John Wesner, Glenn Kendall, Johnnie Cannon, Rusty Ellis, Melvin Sasser, Oran Jencks. Interment was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son in charged of arrangements.
