He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jack, two sisters, Ruby and Faye. He was married to Veta Pearl Holland in Arnett, Oklahoma. To this union was born Viola Yonzell Vogt (Mrs. Ivan), Corn, Oklahoma, Rogert Eugene, Mangum, Oklahoma, Herman Ray, Ada, Oklahoma, Jack Lee, Duncan, Oklahoma, Jimmie Ronald, Oklahoma City. Other survivors include two sisters, Willie (Mrs. Lenis) Neu, Lancaster, California, Velma (Mrs. Jim) Brown, Durham, Oklahoma and two brothers, Floyd of Durham, Oklahoma, and Milburn of Riverside, California and six grandchildren. He received the Lord Jesus Christ as his saviour and was baptised in 1956 by Pastor Wilkerson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne and a life time resident of Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
