Memorial services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Crawford Magnolia Baptist Church. Rev. Lloyd Martin and Rev. Aubrey Cowan officiated. Burial was in the Belview Cemtery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Born August 23, 1902 near Nine Mile Creek on the old Eakins homestead near Hammon, Lillie Ney Eakins, who was named for her grandfather, lived all her life in Roger Mills County and was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church in Crawford. She loved ranching and was a wonderful cook and a good neighbor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim Hatley, his daughter, and one brother. Survivors are one son, Bobby Joe and daughter-in-law, Joyce of Crawford, 1 brother, Bernard Eakins of cheyenne; 1 granddaughter, Lisa Gay Barton of Crawford; 1 nephew, J.B.
