Gilbert Brothers officiating. Dorothy was born February 18, 1912 at Mayfield, OK, and passed away, in the Sayre Hospital after and extended illness on July 9, 1978. She attended school at Pleasant Valley, New Liberty, Berlin and Grimes. July 10, 1932 she married Everett Brothers at Hammon and they lived in the Grimes and Dempsey Community until moving to Sayre in 1972 to make their home. She has been a member of the Baptist Church since 1927. Preceding her in death were her father, Warner A. brown, 2 brothers, Jesse and Ira. Survivors are her husband, Everett of the home; 1 daughter, Betty Brothers, sayre; Son Everett W. Brothers, Oklahoma City; her mother, Mrs. Ida Brown, Sayre; and 2 grandchildren; and 5 brothers, Murl Brown, Lawton; clyde Brown, Shawnee; Clifford Brown, W.W. Brown both of Cheyenne; and L.L. Brown, Boise City, Idaho. Pallbearers were C.B. McWhorter, A.C. Campbell, Jack Criswell, Charles Campbell, Ben Olson, Leon Olson. Honorary Pallbearers were S.C. Spitzer and W.L. Martin.
