Broome Carl W. Broome, a former area resident, died November 14, 1988 at the home of his daughter, Sharon Sorbelto in Redlands, California. Born May 5, 1904, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tobe Broome, pioneer settler of Western Oklahoma. Carl graduated from Leedey High School with the Class of 1922 and attended A&M College in Stillwater. He is survived by six children, his grand and great grandchildren. Burial was in Forrest Lane Cemetery in Corvina, California. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
