The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Obit for Michael "Mike" Bernard Brown Mr. Michael "Mike" Bernard Brown, late of 909 S. 12th St. Canon, Colorado, died recently at St. Thomas Morel Hospital. He was born July 14, 1907 at Cordell, Oklahom and was 70. Mr. Brown had a retail milke route in Grand Junction for 18 years, working with Clymers' Dairy. He also worked in or processing with National Lead of Grand Junction before moving to Canon City in 1958. He was employed at Cotter Corp. as supervisor of the crossing unit from 1958 until his retirement in 1972. He was married December 24, 1925 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma, to Edna Audine Eggleston, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Harvey Cleon Brown of Craig, Donna Darlene Radcliff of Grand Junction, and DeAnna Larabeth Griffins of Canon City. Three granddaughters, four grandsons and one great granddaughter survive, as do brothers and sisters, Mrs. Winnie Sibley of Fritch, Texas; Hughie Brown of Gage, Oklahoma; Jim Brown, Durham, Oklahoma and C.A. Brown, Canyon, Texas. He was preceded in death by a son and a grandson. Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Holt and Wilson Almont Chapel of the Garden with Rev. Paul Learning officiating.
