The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Obit for Linda Kay Bryan Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Kay Bryan, 44 year old Weatherford, Oklahoma, resident will be held at the First Baptist Church in Weatherford on Saturday afternoon, April 17, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Leonard Molone, minister of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of the lockstone Funeral Home Inc. Mrs. Bryan was born July 15, 1948 at Sayre, Oklahoma and died April 14, 1993 at Southwestern Memorial Hospital in Weatherford. linda was raised and attended schools at Sayre graduating from Sayre High School in 1966. After high school she attended Sayre Jr. College. On December 26, 1967 she was married to Mr. George K. Bryan at Sayre, Oklahoma. After their marriage they moved to San Diego, California for a shor time with the United States Navy before moving to Weatherford in 1970. Linda returned to College at southwestern Oklahoma State University where she received her Batchelors and Master Degree. She taught for a number of years with the Head Start program later teaching for the Weatherford Public School where she taught Special Education for some 10 years. She had been in ill health the past 17 months. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was also a memnber of the Athenians, Oklahoma Education association and Nationa Education Association. Memorial may be made to the Weatherford Schools Foundation-Linda Bryan Fund. She is survived by her husband, George; a daughter, Melissa K. Bryan; a son, Jeffrey K. Bryan all of Weatherford. Her parents, Lee and Della Yarbrough, Perryton, Texas; a brother, Dewayne Yarbrough, Canyon, Texas and a sister, Beverly Head, Perryton, Texas.
