She was married to W.W. "Bill" Brown at Sayre, Oklahoma on January 15, 1944. They lived in the Grimes community before moving to the Sunny Point community in 1946. They later moved to Sayre in 1982 to make their home. She was a member of the Sayre Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three infant children; two sisters, Lillie Maddox and Gerturde Flenner; three bothers, Bud, Charles, Jr. and Calvin. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Davis of Sayre, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Shawn Davis of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Rusty Davis of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Allison Davis of Sayre, Oklahoma; four sisters, Anna Wilson and Helen Seals, Elk City, Oklahoma, Dorothy Flenner, Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Evelyn Mackey, Sayre, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Thursday, Decembver 28, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at Sayre Church of Christ, officiated by Eddie Beard and Kevin Ballard.
