He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1955. He began farming at a very early age and continued farming in the Sweetwater community his entire farming career. He was discharged from the Army National Guard in 1965 after some six years of service. Leonard was married to Lois Brown on September 30, 1961 at Syare. He was a member of the Sayre Co-Op Association where he served as a board member for sixteen years. His life was farming. Leonard was a member of the New Liberty Church. Survivors include his wife, Lois Brown of the home, 3 sons, Leonard Dale Bryan and his wife Misti of Chattanooga, OK, Waylon Kent Bryan and his wife Connie of Briscoe, TX and Timothy Mark Bryan of Sweetwater. Also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis A. Bryan of Sweetwater. His brother, Arnel Bryan and his wife Shirley of Pampa, his siter, Patricia Sargent of Sweetwater, five grandchildren, Brittany Bryan, Dallas Bryan, Deidra Bryan, Drak Bryan and Travis Bryan, also a host of other relatives and friends.
