Ashley, officiating. Interment followed in the Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Sayre. Lorene Gladys Bryan was born June 16, 1917 at Wellington, Texas to Marvin and Laura Gould Smulcer and passed away Wednesday at the age of 83. She came to western Oklahoma with her family when she was 6 years of age. Mrs. Bryan attended Meridian School and was married to Hollis Albert Bryan on November 10, 1934 at Sweetwater. They farmed in the Sweetwater area all of their married life and Mrs. Bryan was not only a homemaker and farmer's wife but also a helpmate. She was a member of the Sunny Point Home Demostration Club and the Sweetwater Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and also involved with Bible School. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Leonard, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and a daughter in law. Survivors include her husband: H. Albert Bryan of the Sweetwater home.
