Brown in 1898, who preceded her in death in 1911. Mr. and Mrs. Brown moved to Cheyenne in 1898 and remained here until his death, when she moved her family to Texas. Mrs. Brown was born in Decatur, Texas, March 15, 1873 and died Friday, September 8, 1950 at the age of 77 in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Trula Thompson, north of Cheyenne. She has been a member of the Church of Christ since a young girl. The past several years she has made her home with her children. Those surviving Mrs. Brown other than Mrs. Thompson are: Mrs. Lela Johnston, Chilichothi, Texas, Mrs. Race Keesee, Lubbock, Texas; Emmitt Brown, Vernon, Texas; Mrs. Elsie Jobe, Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. Alice McNutt, Dallas, Texas; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren besidces a host of other relatives and friends.
